Watson available for loan this summer

Latest from Your Site News' Keith Downie:

Brighton winger Tommy Watson is available on loan this summer, with multiple Championship clubs showing interest in the player.

The 20-year-old signed for the Seagulls for 10m last summer following his winning goal in the Championship play-off final for Sunderland.

But Watson has struggled for game time and spent the last few months on loan at Millwall.

'Guardiola to leave Man City this summer'

Pep Guardiola will leave Manchester City this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Following months of speculation around his future, the report says the Spaniard will leave City after Sunday's final Premier League match against Aston Villa, with one year remaining on his contract.

The Daily Mail say City have begun to tell their sponsor partners that the announcement is imminent, with it expected to be confirmed sometime on Sunday.

However, these reports have not been confirmed by anyone at Man City.

During 10 years at Man City, he has guided the club to a remarkable 20 trophies, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy in 2023.

Guardiola has won a League and FA Cup double, and has City challenging for the Premier League title, in what could be his final campaign.

Latest from Your Site News' Anthony Joseph:

Aberdeen have offered captain Graeme Shinnie a new contract but both parties remain far apart from an agreement.

Shinnies contract expires this summer and its understood the Dons have offered him a new two-year deal, which includes gaining potential coaching experience.

However, they have not yet reached an agreement with the 34-year-old, who is hoping for improved terms.

Talks are ongoing between Shinnie and the club.

Shinnies old club Inverness Caledonian Thistle are monitoring the situation and are keen on bringing him back to the Highlands, after they gained promotion to the Championship.

King to leave Rangers after 17 years

Latest from Your Site News' Anthony Joseph:

Rangers centre-back Leon King has announced he is leaving the club after 17 years.

Your Site News understands the 22-year-old was not offered a new deal.

HeartsWatford and Millwall have been monitoring his situation.

Sporting monitoring Palhinha

Latest from Your Site News' Lyall Thomas:

Sporting are among the clubs monitoring Joao Palhinhas situation at Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs have the option to sign him permanently for roughly 26m at the end of his season-long loan from Bayern Munich.

However, Spurs are not expected to sit down and discuss Palhinhas potential future with them until the end of the season, when they know their Premier League status.

Sporting are interested in bringing Palhinha back to the club four years after he left to join Marco Silva's Fulham side in 2022.

However, it remains to be seen whether they can match Bayern's financial parameters for a deal.

Bayern have little interest in Palhinha being part of their squad next season, so the 30-year-old is set to be back on the market after impressing again in the Premier League, unless Spurs take up their option.

Nottingham Forest were keen on Palhinha before he joined Spurs last summer, but it remains to be seen whether they still have the midfielder under consideration this time around.
