'Jarrod Bowen' emerges as summer target for Blues

Chelsea are considering a move for West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen following the Hammers relegation from the Premier League, according to The Independent.

The report claims Chelsea have admired the 29-year-old for some time, with the club valuing both his leadership qualities and versatility across the front line.

However, Chelsea are not alone in their interest, with a number of other clubs also said to be monitoring Bowens situation this summer.

Shaw on new contract: I always wanted to be at Man City

Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw spoke about her decision to sign a new contract at Man City after scoring the opening goal in the 4-0 FA Cup final win over Brighton at Wembley.

Earlier this week, the 29-year-old put speculation about her future to bed by signing a new four-year deal.

"It's been a long couple of months, a whole lot of different emotions, but I've always said I wanted to be here," she said, speaking to TNT Sports.

"If I'm being honest, it's been very difficult, but towards the end we got it done and I'm happy about that."

City head coach Andree Jeglertz added:

"A big credit to her that she thinks our programme will make her better and she can win titles, but also for the club being able to make it happen.

"It's been a long process and they have been working so hard to get it on paper. It was a great thing they made it before this game, but also before everybody left [for the summer]."

Vidosic: Brighton need to keep as many players as possible

Brighton head coach Dario Vidosic was asked about plans for the 2026/27 season after his side lost 4-0 to Man City in the Women's FA Cup final at Wembley.

The Seagulls finished seventh in the WSL.

"To build, you need to have that core together so they can keep working, keep learning and keep growing together," he said in his post-match press conference.

"It is important that we keep as many as we possibly can together and then we start to bring in some other areas that we'll need to strengthen.

"Theres a little bit that the club has started, so there's a couple that will hopefully be announced relatively soon, but I think it will be a continuous work and especially now the season has come to an end

"I haven't asked too much or been too involved in it, Ive been focused on the FA Cup final, but I'm sure it will be a fairly busy summer again."

Arsenal trio named in UEFA Champions League Team of the Season

David RayaGabriel and Declan Rice have all been named in UEFAs Champions League Team of the Season after Arsenals run to the final.

Raya was selected in goal following a number of big saves throughout the campaign, while Gabriel earned his spot in defence after another commanding season at the back.

Rice completes the Arsenal trio in midfield after a string of standout performances in Europe for Mikel Artetas side.

Carra: An elite manager would have fixed Liverpool

Jamie Carragher was shocked by Arne Slot's sacking but believes an elite manager would have fixed Liverpool last season.

'Can he win Liverpool the league?' - Carra gives Iraola verdict

Carragher: Arsenal need upgrades in attack

Jamie Carragher says Arsenal need to make upgrades in attack if they are going to win the Champions League in future.

Arsenal were beaten on penalties by Paris Saint-Germain in Saturdays final, having only one shot on target that came in the sixth minute when Kai Havertz opened the scoring.

Mikel Artetas side also had just 24.7 per cent possession which was the lowest by a team in a Champions League final since records began in 2003/04.

PSG target new players after Champions League triumph

Luis Enrique says PSG want new players for next season as they target more silverware.

The manager was speaking after beating defended their European title.

For Enrique, it was his third triumph in the competition, but added PSG want to be there again next ter.

He told TNT Sports: "We need to renew the squad because everyone has their position, but we need to play for the position with new players and we need to solve the things you normally you need to do usually in a team like Paris Saint-Germain.

"Maybe both teams deserved to win, but after this season, I think we deserved to win the Champions League. We are very happy and were trying to be there next year."

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi also said the club will be targeting new players, adding to TNT Sports: "Of course we will be going to the market."

Discussing Enrique, he said: "He's a very special, as a coach, human being, as a person, he is fantastic.

"He's the best coach in the world. He has done amazing with the team. With a young team, you know the story. I would also like to thank the players of PSG this is also for them. They all gave to this project."

Iraola on a two-man shortlist, but is Enrique the other target?

Latest from Your Site News' Mark McAdam:

The brand of football clearly is one of the big factors. The shortlist to replace Arne Slot I believe has two names. One is Iraola.

If you speak to any Bournemouth fan about the style of football after the last three seasons under Andoni Iraola, they will wax lyrical about the way Bournemouth go about their business. High intensity, front-footed. They play with a real zest and an ability to get the ball forward. They use width, are very dynamic on the ball and win it high up the pitch. They really take the game to the opposition. Its that type of heavy metal brand of football. Exactly the same style under Jurgen Klopp. It wasnt about keeping the ball, it was about being exciting.

At this stage, we know Liverpool havent officially spoken to any candidates, but we know Andoni Iraola is one of those that the players would like to speak to.

Champions League day. Luis Enrique at PSG. Three league titles on the spin, could win back-to-back Champions Leagues. Would that be the perfect opportunity to say goodbye to Paris? We do know he has one year left on his contract.

I do find it fascinating that Liverpool have sacked Arne Slot today. In the next 24 hours there could be some significant changes at PSG. Who knows? We know there are two names on Liverpools shortlist. Andoni Iraolas one. Who is the other one? I just find it really intriguing that the announcement comes on a day like today.

Atletico Madrid interested in Reijnders

Atletico Madrid have registered interest in signing Manchester City's Tijjani Reijnders.

Changes are anticipated in midfield at City this summer, as they hope to complete the signing of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.

City's position on the future of Reijnders is not yet clear, however, having only signed him last summer from AC Milan.

Atletico are looking to make new signings in midfield themselves - and Your Site News has already reported they have agreed a deal in principle with Wolves for defensive midfielder Joao Gomes.

They also want to sign a number eight-type midfielder, which Reijnders is, while Your Site News has previously reported their interest in Matt O'Riley at Brighton too.

The 27-year-old Reijnders, who is part of Ronald Koeman's Netherlands World Cup squad, made 47 appearances in all competitions and scored seven goals.

Atletico has been pursuing Ederson from Atalanta before pivoting to Gomes at Wolves as Manchester United moved more strongly into the picture for Ederson earlier this month.
