Cucurella's Chelsea future in doubt
Marc Cucurella's future at Chelsea is in doubt, with several clubs having been been in contact with the Spain left back's representatives regarding a summer move away from Stamford Bridge, according to reports in the New York Times.
Xabi Alonso recently took charge at Chelsea after a disappointing campaign which saw the west London club finish down in 10th place in the Premier League and without a trophy.
However, Cucurella only signed a new deal last summer and still has three years left on that contract, although it is also understood the Blues would not prevent the 27-year-old from leaving if a club meets their valuation of the player.
LaLiga champions Barcelona, as well as Atletico Madrid, are both said to have enquired about Cucurella's availability.
Versatile Netherlands international Jorrel Hato, who joined Chelsea from Ajax last summer, would be an option to replace Cucurella.

What's going on with Liverpool's pursuit of Diomande?
Sky in Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg on Liverpool's pursuit of RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande:
"It is possible from the player side - he [Diomande] has joined the big, big agency Roc Nation Sports International, who have a very clear plan for his career and the plan is to join a special, top club already in the next transfer window and we also have to look at him in the World Cup.
"But there are two sides and on the other hand there is RB Leipzig who have the clear plan to keep him for another year - [managing director] Oliver Mintzlaff and Jurgen Klopp want to extend his contract and adjust his contract and make him into the next big thing with Leipzig.
"I had a call with one of Leipzig's big bosses last [Sunday] night and they said, 'stay relaxed, he is 100% staying.' On the other hand, I had contact with Liverpool, who said they are pushing to sign Diomande, they want to sign him in this transfer window and they are working on a verbal agreement, but there are no agreements yet with the player or any other clubs."
