Man Utd 'close to signing Tonali'

Man Utd are close to completing a move for Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Italian was linked with a move to Arsenal in January and his agent Guiseppe Riso later namechecked the Gunners and Man City as destinations for a potential future move.

Your Site News previously reported Tonali is on Man Utd's long list of midfielders this summer - with two expected to join in the upcoming transfer window.

Also included are Adam Wharton and Bournemouth duo Tyler Adams and Alex Scott as well as Lille's Ayoub Bouaddi and Christos Mouzakitis of Olympiakos.
